A Manifesto
A campaign to help millennials better understand and improve their financial status.
85% of Canadians agree that financial literacy in Canada is lacking, and this lack of knowledge is contributing to 87% of Canada’s consumer debt problem. Although Millennials tend to be better educated, only 24% of Millennials demonstrated basic financial knowledge, and the majority were very unsatisfied with their current financial situation. With all things said, only 27% of Millennials are seeking professional financial advice on saving and investment. A Manifesto is a campaign for an event created to bring awareness to Millennials who are unaware of their financial status, improve their finances, and help encourage a change in the educational system on how we learn about finances.
